PM Edi Rama put out a bunch of fake red velvet chairs with signs saying "dialogue" for the international press...as if he hadn't ignored peaceful protest for 135 days before things escalated.
Yesterday, some protestors broke the chairs.
The infrastructure problems in Tirana remain, but he used public employee time to instead carry some concrete aggregate bollards up to where the chairs had been and put "dialogue" signs on those. Most cycle lanes in Tirana still not protected from drivers, but bollards as a stunt, though...
