I don’t even know who this is for. please imagine using this. please share in the burning pain I feel imagining having to press those tiny-ass UI elements while hovering my wrists over the keyboard

…which you’ll have to do, because apple didn’t copy the one thing that makes touchscreen thinkpads mildly usable: being able to fold the hinge completely back, so you can use the thing as a heavy thick clumsy tablet with a keyboard on the back that you might break if you’re not careful

no the thinkpad one isn’t good, but not having it is much worse. that’s what lenovo leaned after like a decade+ of making touchscreen thinkpads

incredibly, I don’t think this thing will even support the Apple Pencil, so you can’t use it for the one touchscreen laptop use case (Wacom tablet but more portable, slightly cheaper, and much jankier)

this isn’t good for anything at all, is it

(I also searched for stylus and pen and found nothing, not that a stylus of any form is usable unless the screen folds all the way back)
