It doesn't have to just be social networks, there are tools like @karrot which are intended for local activist groups to connect and organise.
And yes totally understand why groups would use every platform they can, but it's important that at least some of those options are non-corporate so that the door is open to escape corporations when they start behaving like Meta. (And to be fair to Indivisible they *are* on here too.)
