Modern PHP looks nothing like Perl, has strong typing, the best package manager of any language (seriously), and much, much more.

Also, what good is the best package manager if your language doesn't have modules? And if you accidentally leave an empty line or a space at the beginning of any PHP source file anywhere, your whole application breaks?
@cstross Then you haven't actually looked at the language since then, and it shows. Modern PHP looks nothing like Perl, has strong typing, the best package manager of any language (seriously), and much, much more. And you got your facts wrong. 95 was when the first release happen

PHP 4 was in 2000, and had OOP features. Love your work, but this is an uninformed opinion based onI don't know who needs to hear this, but: There is no softlock in the Water Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
