The nutshell:
"Trails is Entire’s take on the pull request model, but instead of developers reviewing code changes manually, Trails gives them a dashboard with customizable evals scored by agents. That system may assess how risky a code change is, for example, or how much intent drift has occurred over a long LLM-driven development session."

And that sucks.
We're doing atomic structure now which has some really cool empirical science. But it isn't much of the content overall. I need to cut some of the extra reinforcement material I was going to do and focus a little more on things like electron configuration and describing atoms rather than _why_ we know this stuff.
Oh well. Live and learn.
Microsoft has opened a voluntary exit programme to about 60,000 of its roughly 223,000 staff, covering roles up to level 70 in the US, Canada, India and the UK, with colleagues who decline facing possible layoffs later. The buyout lands days before quarterly results, as investors weigh whether record AI spending is finally paying off. https://gizmodo.com/microsoft-is-offering-60000-employees-money-to-just-go-away-2000830711 #AIagent #AI #GenAI #Workforce

For a very long time I’ve been using Prot themes, both ef and Doric, because they are wonderful. But browsing through MELPA I saw guava themes (https://github.com/bormoge/guava-themes) and I’ve fallen i love with them. Something it is good to have some multicolor fun.
Wow, this video title was a surprise, post 10 never says anything political what so ever, and here he posts a video about "free capitalist pigs"

OpenHands Software Agent SDK before 1.52.0 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability where the DockerWorkspace and Apptainer workspace launchers bind the sandbox agent server to all network interfaces (0.0.0.0) with an empty session_api_keys list, disabling authentication by default. Attackers who can reach the published container port can send unauthenticated HTTP and WebSocket requests to execute arbitrary shell commands as root in the sandbox, access the mounted workspace, and read plaintext secrets from the secrets store.
One thing I'm struggling with this year is my decision to teach an actual College Board AP © Chemistry class. I used to teach this class and spend time on complex topics because they're _cool_. This year, I feel the pressure of the test in May.
My class is also very different from last year. They're not really go-getters to dig into content, so I think I have to back off on some things and focus on the test material this year to get them through it.
11. Logic is easy to unit test if it is stateless and side-effect free. Break out logic into separate functions, rather than mixing logic into stateful and side-effect-filled code. Separating stateful code and code with side-effects into smaller functions makes them easier to mock out and unit test without side-effects. (Less overhead for tests means faster tests.) Side effects *do* need testing, but testing them once and mocking them out everywhere else is generally a good pattern.

One time we were getting boards that couldn't read the light sensor. I found there was a bad capacitor causing it. The cap was bigger than most others and the thermal stress of manufacturing caused it to crack imperceptibly. This meant the voltage was unstable and the sensor didn't work right. The manufacturer was able to change their solder oven settings to reduce the stress on that part and the problem stopped being manufactured.
‼️🇨🇷 WhiteArmor claims access to Gamdom’s full user database and is demanding $15 million in Bitcoin.

People have been asking if computers can think for decades, but it doesn't really matter, after all anyone can think. The important question is if they can think properly! And as we know from the history of philosophy, to really think properly you have to be wearing pants. Or, in special circumstances, a toga — but only if you are allergic to fava beans or have an affinity to hemlock.

iOS 27.2 is out.
Presumably there will be some CVEs for it, but the Apple security releases page doesn't have 27.2 (yet?)
I'm pretty good at finding why things didn't work. I used to spend a lot of time doing that. I'm also good at fixing a lot of things that didn't work, or at least proposing how.
I don't know if my brain is cut out for teaching three different classes in the same year anymore.

Also bis jetzt recht gut soweit...
