I will say that to make the game playable, I had to turn the How Hard Is The Game knobs way down. The game has an exceptionally fine-grained set of difficulty controls where you can tune at least nine or ten different axes. set it all to Old Man Wants To See The Next Screen please

I have to patch some servers that I maintain on a familial basis but I am not calling myself a "PHP user" when I do so, sorry

FosstodonPHP (@[email protected])The PHP security team is giving advance notice of an upcoming security release scheduled for Wed, 21 October 2026 at 14:00 UTC, addresses two critical vulnerabilities, both rated CVSSv4 9.2. Should details of the vulnerabilities become public, or should evidence of active exploitation appear we will release sooner.what it doesn't have for me is the really dark and brooding quiet suspense of the first one. In Control, that whole thing with the phone ringing, the Director's ghost voice, the Motel, and my favorite, the Custodian, this game doesn't generate that kind of suspense, it's more like "here's the next mission, we dont know whats there!" (spoiler, monsters!). the scenes have a much bigger "wow! that's crazy!" factor, but less suspenseful buildup
the combat at first seemed like it was going to be thinner but as I got into the game basics in fact the combat model in C:R seems to have a more dynamism going on, and in particular has a really novel feel to it where you can sort of fly, sort of not, but if there's a baddie you're going after, suddenly you can fly even more because the Board just has to let you kill that baddie, I actually dont remember if Control had that concept but the combat is way more up close and personal in this game
Control:Resonant status:
I guess I'm 40-50 percent in. Definitely fun and a game anyone who liked the first Control would like playing. It has both more and less than the original Control. The level design paradigm is way more sophisticated than the original, and if you've watched any trailers at all you'll see a lot of walking on walls type of thing, and they've made some truly beautiful level ideas from that as you get further.
happy "shut off all your php sites until 10:30 am" day
I cannot believe Google won't give us a control to mark and block multiple messages at once as spam, or even a control to auto block these. It detects them all as political spam identically but refuses to not send them due to some stupid legal loophole
